Greg Winford, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Greg Winford has been a financial executive for over 25 years in a vast array of industries. This experience has given him the privilege of working with one of the Southeast’s largest and rapidly growing restaurant franchise groups and one of the nation’s leading IBM Business Partners. An entrepreneur himself, Greg understands the challenges business owners face. Particularly those organizations needing to successfully cope with the financial and management challenges in a way that intelligently addresses growth. His recent addition to our team will allow Action Properties to leverage his experience to insure that our growth is accomplished in a way that brings financial stability yet maximize returns to our owners and investors.
Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and worked several years in public accounting before embarking on a career in the private sector. He earned a Bachelors of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. Greg has owned and sold several small businesses in the past few years. Recent businesses have centered around the pharmaceutical industry. Greg has also been a contract CFO doing consulting work for small businesses and non-profits who needed the experience of a financial executive.
Greg is married to the former Randy Ratcliff of Madison and they have four children. Greg is a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church and has serviced in many capacities including Chairman of the Finance Committee and most recently as Vice Chairman of the Deacons. He has also served in officer positions in several school and civic originations.
